Megan + Adam - August 14, 2010 - The Woodlands

This moment above is right after they walked down the isle as a married couple. It is these moments that I cherish as a photographer. The true essence of the day - candid and real!

Jennie Lynn captured this shot above and I just LOVE it!!!!

A few months back I had so much fun with Megan and Adam's engagement shoot - their wedding day was no different!! These two make me so happy!! The Woodlands is always stunning and again rain was in the forecast, but it turned out to be an amazingly beautiful day!

Megan was the most beautiful bride - I was touched by how appreciative they were to their friends and family. These two are truly friends anyone who be honored to have!!

May your years be filled with much happiness and fun!! I have a feeling that won't be a problem for you!! Thanks so much for being so wonderful to work with:) ~ Meggan

Katie and Mike - August 7, 2010 - Kleffner Ranch, Helena

*The "Kiss" and little Jack looking around as everyone is cheering and clapping!!
What a beautiful couple and a lovely location. My new favorite venue - Kleffner Ranch is amazing!! The owners Denis and Stacy have done an amazing job since 2005 with this historic ranch.

It turned out to be a perfect day!! Potential hail and thunderstorms were in the forecast, but only sun and pretty Montana skies graced their wedding day.

Katie and Mike's two year old Jack is one lucky little boy. He is so adorable and did such a good job throughout the hours of celebration!

It was so much fun being a part of Katie and Mike's celebration!!! Thank you for asking me to be a part of it!! Cheers to you and your sweet little family! ~ Meggan

Dani D. - Class of 2011

Hello again - Carlie checking in...I was super excited to get to spend a Sunny Sunday afternoon in with Dani. after rescheduling due to rainy, dreary weather on Friday. Danny will be graduating from TFHS come May and plans to attend MSU to further her education. GO CATS!

We were able to squeeze in her senior portrait shoot before her relaxing days of summer were interrupted with two-a-day practices for Volleyball. Dani is an ATHLETE!!! She plays volleyball and basketball for the Lady Wolves and sure tears up the court - I've had the honor of watching her participate at State Basketball last year! She is also a pro in front of the camera with a smile that stretches for a mile....and did I mention how much I LOVE her beautiful red hair! I had to fight the urge to call her Hott Donna - like off of my favorite show ever - That 70's Show! Thank you Dani for a fun shoot! Enjoy!

Meghan & Storm – Milwaukee to Montana

Good morning all – you’ve got Carlie here! I had the most wonderful experience a couple of weeks ago that will definitely go down in the books as one of the most romantic ceremonies I have witnessed. What more can a photographer dream of than to have a bride and groom all to themselves for two hours with a view from the top of the world??? Well – not to make everyone jealous – but that dream came true for me! Meghan & Storm traveled to Montana to share their vows in an intimate setting with only a witness – Meghan’s friend Katie - joining them. To make things even more exciting, my good friend Matt from photography school was in town and joined me in shooting Meghan & Storm's wedding. We ventured up past Ennis to the Double F Ranch to meet the couple and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them both in person and through our lenses on this beautiful day! I hope you all enjoy these images as much as I do! Congratulations Meghan & Storm – may these photographs allow your family and friends back home share in the joy and excitement you felt this very day!

Emily + Shaun - Love in Paradise Valley

Carlie here with my latest wedding updates.....I got to know Shaun & Emily last winter after a meeting at Wild Joes and then a fun engagement session in the snow. They are just great!!! Last Saturday, I was excited to venture out to a new location I had never shot at before – The Range – out in Paradise Valley. The mountains made for a beautiful backdrop for my beautiful bride and groom. I was also excited that my friend Matt who I met at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in 2008 joined me to shoot for the day! Family and Friends from all over came to share in the celebration. I just love that during my job I am surrounded by love and laughter and make new friends every weekend!!! Thank you Emily and Shaun for allowing me to capture your special day – may you be blessed with a lasting and loving marriage just as your parents and grandparents have shared!
